<image:title>About - I’m a writer and academic based at the University of Cambridge. Since completing my Ph.D. in 2019, I’ve taught literature, film, and critical theory at Cambridge, and my research in cultural theory and history has focused on the meanings of technology, militarism, and the body.</image:title>
<image:caption>My writing has appeared in The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Times, Textual Practice, Humanities, and Critical Quarterly—among other journals and books. My first monograph, War/Sport: A Genealogy of Play and Violence, will trace the confluence between the concepts of war and sport in modernity. A full list of my publications and forthcoming projects is available here.</image:caption>
